Basic Requirements for Wind Turbine Installation
The most basic and crucial requirement for installing a wind turbine is establishing an extremely stable foundation. This typically requires pouring a sufficiently large and deep concrete base, depending on the tower height and local wind and soil conditions. The steel reinforcement and cement strength within the base must meet design requirements to ensure it can withstand the enormous tensile and overturning forces generated by the turbine in strong winds. A solid foundation is fundamental to the long-term safe operation of the turbine and must not be taken lightly.
Secondly, the site selection and tower design must ensure the turbine can fully capture wind energy. The installation location should be as open as possible, away from trees, buildings, and other obstacles, ensuring no obstruction in the direction of wind. Simultaneously, the tower must be high enough, as higher towers generally experience higher and more stable wind speeds. The tower's strength, verticality, and the tightness of all connections must meet standards to ensure stable operation of the turbine at high altitudes.
Finally, the entire installation process must strictly adhere to safety regulations, and the electrical system must be correctly and reliably configured. Installation (especially hoisting) should be carried out in clear, light-wind conditions by qualified professionals. All electrical wiring must be standardized, waterproof, and well-insulated, and lightning protection must be in place. After the system is installed, a comprehensive commissioning must be carried out to test whether the fan's start-up, operation, braking, and protection functions are all normal. Only by meeting these basic requirements can the fan operate safely, efficiently, and for a long time.
